The Earth Festival will bring together student art, dances, songs, and climate action to celebrate the incredible work, programming, and events that occurred during Earth Week! This multi-hour event will take place at the end of Earth Week, on Saturday April 23, 2022, and, weather permitting, will be held outside in the Elson Courtyard. It will display a dazzling group of Andover bands, singers, dancers, poets, and just about anyone else interested in delivering an incredible show to the larger Andover community! Throughout this show, there will be exhibits of student produced art in collaboration with the Addison, an artistic banner for attendees to contribute to with their personal climate related goals, and a divestment petition for interested students to read and sign. Food and Drinks will be provided for the entire event!

We will be bringing together many performers from across the Andover community, from a variety of musical backgrounds. From independent songwriters, to large dance groups, to student made art, to spoken word poetry this event will include all voices and talents from the school!
We will host all performing groups on a stage brought out to the Elson Courtyard. This stage will be able to comfortably hold 10 to 15 people, and will have a Marley floor for dancing groups. Students are encouraged to bring their own amps, but we will provide extras, mics, music stands, and chairs, if needed. We will also have both a keyboard and drum set. We will handle the rest of the sound equipment, including speakers, and AV management.
Student arts will be displayed outside on a pop-up gallery display. This art will primarily be from the art workshop hosted earlier in the week, however, students can independently submit their art for display. Depending on submission size, not all artwork will be able to be displayed.
Food & Drink:
We will cater snacks and desserts for this event, as well as serve beverages. There will also be a pop-up espresso machine!
