Guiding Questions

"Growth" and "degrowth" encompass a wide range of rationales and solutions. Which do you find yourself agreeing with more than others? Why?

Degrowth solutions require adjustments--in some cases, significant alterations--to our daily lives. What are effective strategies to garner support for these changes? Which constituents should be considered?

In conversation, we run the risk of lacking discipline when talking about "capitalism" and "socialism"--are any specifics of the two systems surprising or easy to gloss over?
